NEW YORK, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Lady Gaga, a pop star known for her fashion-forward outfits, is to make an appearance on "Launch My Line," Bravo announced.

The "Just Dance" and "Paparazzi" singer "surprises the designers and provides inspiration" in the episode of the fashion design competition show to air Wednesday, the network said.

"In this week's challenge, the teams look to Lady Gaga for inspiration to create an avant-garde outfit, but they must make sure they are pushing the boundaries of fashion without crossing the line of good taste," Bravo noted in a news release. "Meanwhile, the tension between some teammates gets intense and someone pushes their teammate to the edge."
